Real Stories Behind Smart Money Choices

We started jyntheral because too many Australians were struggling with basic budgeting. Not the fancy investment stuff you see everywhere, just figuring out where their money actually goes each month.

The Problem We Actually Solved

Back in 2019, I was working with families who earned decent money but somehow always felt broke by week three. They'd tried budgeting apps that were too complicated, read books that focused on investment strategies they weren't ready for.

What they needed was simple: a clear way to track monthly expenses and actually stick to it. So we built something different.

Here's what changed everything: Instead of trying to transform people's entire financial lives overnight, we focused on just one thing – helping them understand their monthly cash flow. When you know exactly where your money goes, everything else gets easier.

How We Actually Help People

Real Numbers, Not Dreams

We work with your actual income and expenses. No fantasy budgets that assume you'll suddenly stop buying coffee or never have unexpected costs.

Monthly Focus

Everything we teach revolves around monthly cycles because that's how most people get paid and most bills work. Simple as that.

Flexible Systems

Life happens. Your budget needs to work when the car breaks down, when overtime gets cut, or when Christmas sneaks up on you again.

Who We Really Are

We're not finance gurus or investment wizards. Freya spent years helping people at a community financial counselling service before starting jyntheral. She got tired of seeing the same problems over and over – people who weren't broke, just disorganized.

Our team includes former bank employees who got frustrated with complex products, teachers who understand how adults actually learn, and regular people who've been through their own money struggles.
